Description
I found these 2 trees, growing right next to each other and thought they must be best freinds by now. All the years they spent together, fighting for light, water, nutrition, etc. and now a few hundred years later, just sitting there enjoying the light and each other. I believe the first tree is a Cottonwood, but could be a Pacific or Western Hemlock, which also are in this area of "The Trail of The Cedars", Glacier National Park. If you know, please let me know!
This image has a slight "painterly" effect and can best be seen using the "green box".
