Description
Spring/Summer is here in Florida and my beautiful Plumerias are blooming. Also called Frangipani, these flowers are the traditional flower used, in Hawaii, to make the Leis.
This image has a slight "painterly" effect that can best be seen using the "green box".

The idea came to me many years ago, when I was looking at images on the Web of some beautiful flower shots, from a famous Garden. And it just made sense, why not do the same here, but on a smaller scale! Many of my plants, the "Heros" were collected from other people's trash, thrown out because they were dying or just brown. Others, people have given me stuff, after they've seen my photos. And a few I bought as small plants. I now have about 15-20 LARGE Sunflowers growing from seeds, so stay tuned. Here's one that I thought I lost from the one night of very cold temperatures: http://www.zone9tropicals.com/quisqualis-indica-rangoon-double-p-497.html?osCsid=994913

Beautiful! Excellent work! I just read that you created your garden so you could shoot. That's very interesting. People create specialty gardens for all types of reasons, a cutting garden, a zen garden, an herb garden, but I'd never heard of a photography garden. You should write about creating it. I bet Abbie would be interested in publishing that story.
